after a discussion of minimalism
among photographers
I, a romantic,
wishing with all my heart
to be minimal
resolved to shut my mouth
and open my eyes
and to let my thoughts collect
like leaves at the base of the tree
slowly

like a cat
in the shade of that tree
observing the birds patiently
on the tree-top
